*** PLEASE NOTE - THE VIDEO MAKES REFERENCE TO 7 DAY ROLLING CALENDAR - WE HAVE NOW EXTENDED OUR DEFAULT TRANSFER PERIOD TO 14 DAYS ***
- Log into the GPShare platform with your username and password. For details on how to log in, visit Logging into GPShare.
- When you log in, the platform will display the Inbox. Down the left hand side, select the Sent Items option.
- Click on the sent transfer you wish to extend.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page until you can see the 'Expiry' option.
- Beside the option labelled ‘Expire On’, select the date currently shown and a calendar will appear.
- From here, you can extend the transfer for up to a further 14 days from the current date (assuming you are on the last available day to download the transfer). NB: The system works on a 14 day rolling calendar only, here's an example:
Let's say you sent a transfer on Monday, this would be due to expire two Monday's time, however you notice on the Friday before it is due to expire, your recipient still hasn't accessed the transfer, despite you sending a nudge. The system will now allow you to extend the transfer by 14 days, from the current date - so in this example, you could extend the expiry to the for another 14 days from that point, and so on, you can do this as many times as you wish.
- Select the new date you wish the transfer to expire and then select 'Save'.
One of the biggest frustrations we heard was when a recipient was on leave or was too busy to access the transfer, which then lead to you having to resend it again - well not anymore! From the sent window, we have also displayed the expiry date of the transfer, so you can easily see when a transfer is due to expire and extend it, if required.
We would recommend not telling your recipients of this option, as they may deliberately delay in opening the transfer knowing they have more time and don’t need to act immediately.
