Does the data go outside of the UK at all?

Absolutely not! 

The system has been designed with the NHS at the heart, therefore no data leaves the UK at all. We operate out of two data centres, one being the UK South Azure data centre (London) and the other being the UK West data centre (Cardiff).

We backup from one data centre to another, to ensure resilience is kept, whilst protecting the data we are handling on your behalf.
